The department degree page and every SAS catalog edition from 2009-11 through 2024-25 list only 01:198:206; the catalog mentions 01:640:477 and 14:332:226 only as no-double-credit exclusions in the CS 206 description. The audit keeps the Degree Navigator alternatives until advising confirms which students they apply to.
Stored catalog (Fall 2011; observation date unknown): Choose one of CS 206, MATH 477, or ECE 226 after the other five core courses.
Introductory sequence transition
CS 111 is not offered from Spring 2027; CS 112 retires from Fall 2027 and may still be offered in Spring 2027. Audits count CS 121 for 111 and CS 122 for 112; CS 120 earns no CS major credit. Confirm the applicable transition pathway and actual term offering before planning.
Stored catalog (Fall 2011; observation date unknown): Core and residency pools list 01:198:111 and 112.
Admission to the major (not evaluated)
Declaring requires C or better in 01:640:151, 152 and 01:198:111, 112, 205. With equivalent credit for 111, 112, or 205, the department and SAS advising pages require two New Brunswick 01:198 courses (SAS adds C or better); the SAS catalog through 2024-25 says transfer students need three.
Stored catalog (Fall 2011; observation date unknown): The requirement tree does not encode the declaration gate.
